Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Williamsburg, VA

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting elementary-aged students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist. With a total of 37.5 hours per week, you'll work closely with a caseload of about 80 elementary students, collaborating with educational staff and potentially supervising a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to ensure comprehensive services.

Your expertise will help shape a positive and inclusive learning environment for students who require speech and language support. While on-site candidates are preferred at this time, there is flexibility for teletherapy opportunities (VOCO) after an initial period of consideration.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Current state licensure (or eligibility) for practicing as an SLP in educational settings
• Experience working in schools and/or pediatric populations
• Strong foundation in school-based therapy models and IEP process
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and digital intervention strategies is a plus
• Leadership skills for potential SLPA supervision

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct assessment, therapy, and intervention for elementary-aged students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Monitor progress and maintain documentation in compliance with school policies
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other service providers
• Supervise and support an SLPA as needed
• Adapt services to accommodate both in-person and virtual delivery methods
