Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience delivering speech therapy services to school-aged children (K-12 preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to conduct assessments, interpret results, and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Comfort working with diverse student populations and collaborating with teachers, families, and other professionals

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in grades K-12 in both individual and group settings
  • Assess and document students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
  • Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Consult with educators, support staff, and families to optimize student success
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team discussions
