Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience delivering speech therapy services to school-aged children (K-12 preferred)
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to conduct assessments, interpret results, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Comfort working with diverse student populations and collaborating with teachers, families, and other professionals
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in grades K-12 in both individual and group settings
- Assess and document students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Consult with educators, support staff, and families to optimize student success
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team discussions
