Apply NowA rewarding opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to support students’ communication needs during the 2026-2027 school year. This contract, full-time position offers a consistent schedule Tuesday through Friday, working 8.75-hour days and totaling 35 hours per week. The caseload includes approximately 50 students, primarily in early childhood and elementary, but ranging up through 12th grade. Those in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply, making this a great opportunity for both new and experienced SLPs passionate about making a difference in school-based settings.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required
- Valid state Speech-Language Pathologist licensure (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- Open to candidates in their Clinical Fellowship Year—supervision available
- Knowledge of assessment, intervention, and therapy for a diverse student population
- Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills
- Familiarity with early childhood through high school populations preferred
- Experience managing caseloads and developing IEPs desired
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Provide speech, language, and communication therapy to students, with a focus on early childhood and elementary age groups
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and track student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education staff
- Maintain thorough records, complete timely documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
- Support students across a variety of ages and ability levels
