This engaging full-time role spans from August 18, 2026, to June 10, 2027, working within a welcoming educational environment located near Willimantic, CT. With a manageable caseload of 40–50 students, you will have the chance to build strong, meaningful connections with students and contribute to their communication success.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current Connecticut Speech Language Pathologist License is required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is highly preferred, though Clinical Fellows (CFY) are also encouraged to apply
- Experience or interest in working with elementary and middle school populations
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are a plus
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and direct therapy to students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Communicate student progress and recommendations to staff and families
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and IEP reviews
- Offer support and collaboration to teachers and support staff to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom
