Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist, serving elementary and middle school students from PreK through 8th grade. This engaging full-time role spans from August 18, 2026, to June 10, 2027, working within a welcoming educational environment located near Willimantic, CT. With a manageable caseload of 40–50 students, you will have the chance to build strong, meaningful connections with students and contribute to their communication success.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current Connecticut Speech Language Pathologist License is required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is highly preferred, though Clinical Fellows (CFY) are also encouraged to apply
  • Experience or interest in working with elementary and middle school populations
  • Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are a plus
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and direct therapy to students with speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Communicate student progress and recommendations to staff and families
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and IEP reviews
  • Offer support and collaboration to teachers and support staff to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom
