Located just a short drive from Norwich, the in-person position offers both full and part-time options to fit your lifestyle within standard school hours of 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM.

You will work directly with young students, collaborating closely with educators and families to ensure every child’s success and growth. This pivotal position allows you to foster communication development in a supportive educational setting.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • SLP-CCC credentials or candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered
  • Demonstrated experience or training within school settings; Pre-K through 2nd grade preferred
  • Familiarity with school-based service delivery models and attendance at Planning and Placement Team (PPT) meetings
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with team members and parents
  • Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility for certification

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy for Pre-K to 2nd grade students
  • Participate in PPT meetings to contribute to Individualized Education Program planning
  • Conduct assessments and develop measurable goals for students’ growth
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school protocols
  • Communicate progress and strategies with parents, teachers, and related service staff
