School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Willimantic, Connecticut

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
• Previous experience working with K-12 populations preferred
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy to a diverse caseload of K-12 students
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and track progress
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student goals
• Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements
• Consult with multidisciplinary teams and provide input on educational strategies
• Facilitate group and individual therapy sessions to address articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders
