Step into an opportunity to support K-12 students in achieving their communication goals for the 2026-2027 academic year. This dynamic contract role is designed for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC credentials who thrives in a diverse school environment. Located near Willimantic, CT, the assignment spans from August 2026 to June 2027 and covers a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, with a weekly commitment of 35-37.5 hours.

As the district’s full-time SLP, you’ll collaborate across multiple school sites, offering your expertise district-wide. The caseload is diverse, providing the chance to work with students at every developmental stage, from kindergarten through high school.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • Valid state licensure (or the ability to obtain prior to start date)
  • Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of IEP development and delivery
  • Effective communication skills with students, staff, and families

Core Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and identify students’ speech and language needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to comprehensive educational strategies
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation of student progress
