Exciting opportunity for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist interested in working with young learners in an engaging and collaborative educational environment! This contract position starts as soon as possible and will run at least through December, with the strong potential to extend through the remainder of the school year.

In this role, you’ll provide direct services to a preschool caseload (up to 20 students) and conduct Birth to Three evaluations as needed. Enjoy a consistent weekday schedule, working 30 hours per week, with daily start times between 8:30 and 9:00 AM and wrap-up by 3:00 or 3:30 PM.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active, valid state licensure or eligibility as an SLP
  • Experience in school-based settings and familiarity with early childhood/preschool populations
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
  • Flexibility to handle evaluations for Birth to Three as assigned

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group speech therapy sessions to preschoolers on your caseload
  • Complete and document comprehensive evaluations for children Birth to Three, as required
  • Develop and implement IEP goals in accordance with district and state guidelines
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and participate in relevant meetings
  • Maintain accurate records and progress notes for all serviced students
  • Communicate regularly with families and caregivers
