Qualifications & Experience Desired:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in South Carolina is required
  • Experience supporting school-aged children, ideally in a primary or elementary setting
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy strategies to meet diverse student needs
  • Comfortable working with small groups and one-on-one sessions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to students according to their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments, screenings, and progress monitoring for elementary students
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support each child’s success
  • Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute clinical expertise to multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide guidance and support to staff and families regarding communication needs
