Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist during a maternity leave this fall. This full-time position begins August 19th and extends through the end of October, providing dedicated speech services within a school setting in a vibrant community near Wilmette, IL. Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CFY)
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for practice in Illinois
  • Experience in school-based settings or pediatric caseloads preferred
  • Proficiency with teletherapy platforms a plus
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to K-12 students on-site and/or via teletherapy
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with a range of communication disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support student progress and IEP goals
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation of services, assessments, and outcomes
  • Provide support and guidance for Clinical Fellows (CFs) as needed
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive school environment
