Apply NowMake a meaningful impact through your expertise in speech-language pathology by supporting preschool and elementary students as they build vital communication skills. This contract opportunity offers the flexibility of full-time or part-time hours, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. You’ll collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals, using your strengths in schools, pediatrics, teletherapy, and the healthcare aspects of speech therapy.
Responsibilities include:
- Evaluating and assessing students’ speech and language abilities using a variety of standardized tools
- Developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and tailoring interventions to meet each student’s unique needs
- Providing direct speech-language therapy services in individual and group settings
- Offering support to students at both the preschool and elementary levels
- Maintaining accurate records and timely data collection for progress monitoring
- Consulting with teachers, staff, and families to coordinate services and maximize student success
- Utilizing technology as needed for teletherapy or remote consultation
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to a positive, collaborative environment
Desired qualifications:
- Valid Delaware Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Experience in schools, pediatrics, and/or teletherapy is a plus
- Open to candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
