Make a meaningful impact through your expertise in speech-language pathology by supporting preschool and elementary students as they build vital communication skills. This contract opportunity offers the flexibility of full-time or part-time hours, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. You’ll collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals, using your strengths in schools, pediatrics, teletherapy, and the healthcare aspects of speech therapy.

Responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating and assessing students’ speech and language abilities using a variety of standardized tools
  • Developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and tailoring interventions to meet each student’s unique needs
  • Providing direct speech-language therapy services in individual and group settings
  • Offering support to students at both the preschool and elementary levels
  • Maintaining accurate records and timely data collection for progress monitoring
  • Consulting with teachers, staff, and families to coordinate services and maximize student success
  • Utilizing technology as needed for teletherapy or remote consultation
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing to a positive, collaborative environment

Desired qualifications:

  • Valid Delaware Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) preferred
  • Experience in schools, pediatrics, and/or teletherapy is a plus
  • Open to candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
