Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students and young adults as a Speech-Language Pathologist. In this role, you'll work in-person on a dedicated team, providing crucial services in a school setting near Wilmington, DE. This position spans from July 6th, 2026, to August 6th, 2026, with orientation and set-up scheduled for the first day. Workdays are Tuesday through Thursday, with the possibility to add Mondays for those interested in working with preschool itinerant students in community childcare settings. Staff hours may vary depending on assignment location.

We're seeking:

  • 2 SLPs to serve a center-based preschool caseload, with optional itinerant preschool work in community childcare on Mondays.
  • 1 SLP to manage a high school and 18-22 transition caseload.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or are Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates.
  • Strong background in school-based settings, pediatrics, and healthcare-related SLP services.
  • Experience or interest in working with both preschool and older student populations.
  • Effective communication, collaboration, and organization skills.
  • Active state licensure (or eligibility) for speech-language pathology practice.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for students with communication disorders.
  • Providing direct and consultative speech-language therapy services.
  • Collaborating with educators, families, and other related service providers to maximize student progress.
  • Maintaining timely and accurate documentation and meeting compliance requirements.
  • Participating in meetings and professional development as needed throughout the contract.
