Located near Wilmington, DE, this in-person assignment runs from July 6, 2026, to August 6, 2026, with orientation and set-up scheduled for the first day. The schedule is Tuesday through Thursday, with the option to add Monday for those interested in serving preschool itinerant students at community childcare centers. Staff hours vary by assignment location, allowing some flexibility within the work week.
Openings are available for:
- Two SLPs: Focus on a center-based preschool caseload, making a lasting difference in early language development. Expand your impact by adding Mondays, providing services to preschoolers in community-based settings.
- One SLP: Take on a unique caseload working with high school students and those aged 18-22, supporting their communication and transition skills.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- State licensure (active or eligibility for licensure)
- Experience in pediatric or school-based settings strongly preferred
- Comfortable working in-person and adapting to varying site hours
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct therapy
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student progress
- Document intervention, maintain compliance with school and state guidelines, and participate in meetings as needed
