School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Wilmington, Delaware

Step into a pivotal speech-language pathology position supporting preschool and kindergarten learners as part of an engaging Autism program and inclusion setting. This full-time, in-person contract assignment begins around November 18th and continues through March 10th, covering a maternity leave period. With the week of Thanksgiving off, you’ll be welcomed into a collaborative, student-centered environment focused on meaningful progress for children.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active SLP license in Delaware (or eligibility to obtain one prior to assignment)
• Current or eligible for Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY-SLP)
• Experience working in school settings, especially with preschool and/or kindergarten-aged children
• Background supporting students on the Autism spectrum or in inclusive classrooms is valuable
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Dedicated to fostering growth and participation for all students

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy to preschool and kindergarten students with diverse needs
• Collaborate with educators, paraprofessionals, and families within the Autism program and inclusion classrooms
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments, track student progress, and maintain effective, timely documentation
• Provide consultation and resources to staff and families to support student success
