Speech Language Pathologist in Wilmington, DE

Key Qualifications:

• Active Delaware SLP License/Certification required (please provide documentation)
• Experience working in an elementary school setting strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to conduct speech-language therapy, comprehensive evaluations, and develop student IEP goals
• Skilled in tracking and documenting student progress, utilizing school-based data systems
• Strong teamwork skills—willing to collaborate closely with teachers, related service staff, families, and administrators
• Flexibility to adapt to caseload or assignment changes, if needed
• Able to reliably work onsite 8:45 AM – 4:15 PM EST, with no accommodations for late arrival or early departure

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy to elementary-aged students
• Complete thorough evaluations and contribute to IEP meetings and documentation
• Monitor and record progress towards IEP goals
• Collaborate actively with school staff and external providers to best meet student needs
• Foster open communication with families regarding student progress and strategies
• Participate in school initiatives or adapt support as district needs evolve
