Key Qualifications:

  • Active and valid Delaware Speech-Language Pathologist license required
  • Prior school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of elementary-grade student needs, including those with autism
  • Confident in administering assessments, writing reports, and developing individualized plans
  • Collaborative spirit with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work onsite full-time (37.5 hrs/week) for the duration of the assignment

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary students across traditional and autism programs
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and participate in the IEP process
  • Create and implement tailored treatment plans to address each student's unique goals
  • Maintain detailed and timely documentation in compliance with school policies
  • Engage and collaborate with teachers, aides, families, and other support staff
  • Monitor student progress, adjust interventions, and advocate for best outcomes

This is a full-time, contract position running from ASAP until June 12, 2026, offering competitive compensation of $50–$60 an hour. You'll have the satisfaction of knowing your specialized skills bring vital support to those who need it most—within a supportive school environment.
