Speech Language Pathologist in Wilmington, DE

This role focuses on an engaging, onsite elementary caseload, providing both traditional speech services and specialized support for students on the autism spectrum. You’ll collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to promote communication advancement and help students gain the confidence to succeed both in and out of the classroom.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Delaware SLP license (required)
• Previous school-based SLP experience highly preferred
• Strong understanding of working with diverse student populations, including those with autism
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
• Passion for supporting the social, emotional, and academic development of elementary students

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students
• Provide direct and consultative speech therapy services to students within a traditional and autism-focused caseload
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
• Engage with families and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care and collaboration
• Participate in IEP meetings and offer expertise on communication needs and strategies
