Support students at every stage of their educational journey in dynamic schools near Wilmington, DE with several contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunities for the 2026-2027 school year. Whether you’re passionate about early intervention or supporting older students’ communication skills, you’ll make a meaningful difference on a diverse caseload—on-site or virtually.

Multiple full-time roles are available:

  • Two SLPs for elementary caseloads (1st–5th grade): August 25–November 13, 2026; open to virtual candidates
  • One SLP for a shared middle and high school caseload (6th–12th grade): November 6, 2026–February 17, 2027; open to virtual candidates; opportunity to bridge from an earlier elementary leave
  • One preschool SLP for ages 3–4: August 25–October 16, 2026; in-person only
  • One Kindergarten SLP (primarily Autism caseload): August 25–November 13, 2026; in-person only

Desired Experience, Skills & Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active state SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain before start)
  • Prior school experience preferred; strong new graduates welcome
  • Familiarity with IEPs, progress monitoring, and collaborative consultation
  • Comfort with technology essential for virtual positions
  • Adaptable and compassionate, with strong communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess student communication needs, develop individualized IEPs, and deliver therapy
  • Collaborate effectively with general and special education teams, as well as families
  • Provide therapy services, track progress, and adjust interventions as needed
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to a positive school environment
