School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Wilmington, Delaware

Exciting opportunities are available for compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologists interested in working with school-aged children and adolescents for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract position offers a variety of engaging assignments supporting students across several grade levels in a dynamic and collaborative educational environment near Wilmington, DE.

Open roles include:

• Two full-time SLPs for elementary school (1st–5th grade) from August 25, 2026, to November 13, 2026; both onsite and virtual candidates welcome.
• One full-time SLP for middle and high school (6th–12th grade, split between two buildings) from November 6, 2026, to February 17, 2026; both onsite and virtual candidates considered—this assignment can immediately follow an elementary leave.
• One full-time preschool SLP (ages 3–4 years) from August 25, 2026, to October 16, 2026; in-person candidates only.
• One full-time SLP for kindergarten, primarily working with an Autism caseload, from August 25, 2026, to November 13, 2026; onsite presence required.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP.
• Experience working with children in a school setting is highly valued.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities.
• Comfortable adapting therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs.
• For select positions, willingness to work onsite as specified.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
