Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current Delaware state SLP licensure or eligibility to obtain
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in an educational or pediatric setting is advantageous
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy to students, individually and in groups
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and establish treatment goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student needs
- Document progress, maintain compliance with IEPs, and prepare necessary reports
- Offer recommendations for classroom modifications and strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to ensure holistic student support
