Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Wilmington, DE | Elementary School

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time opportunity in Wilmington, Delaware. This position will serve an elementary school population and is ideal for an SLP with school-based experience who enjoys collaborating with educational teams to support students’ speech, language, and communication needs.

Position Details:

- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Elementary school caseload
- Hours: 8:45 AM – 4:15 PM
- Onsite, school-based position
- Competitive weekly pay

Responsibilities:

- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students.
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized IEP goals based on student needs.
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Collect, monitor, and document student progress data.
- Maintain accurate therapy documentation and service records.
- Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, families, and other school staff.
- Work as a team player and provide additional support where needed.
- Remain flexible regarding caseload assignments, as assignments may occasionally change based on district needs.

Qualifications:

- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active Delaware SLP license/certification required
- School-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Experience supporting elementary-aged students preferred
- Experience with evaluations, IEP development, progress monitoring, and school-based documentation
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
