Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Wilmington, DE | 2026–2027 School Year
A school district in Wilmington, DE is seeking full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the 2026–2027 school year. Multiple placement options are available across preschool, elementary, and specialized programs. Position Details:
- Full-time, school-based roles
- Typically 1 building per SLP (some sites may share caseloads)
- Preschool, elementary, and specialized program options available
Caseload Options:

Preschool: ~30–35 students
- Includes onsite preschool and itinerant services in local daycares/programs (Newark area)
- Elementary: ~50–55 students with varying levels of need

Special Programs: ~25–30 students
- Preschool through age 22 population
- Specialized setting supporting students with Autism
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services
- Conduct evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement IEPs
- Attend IEP and team meetings
- Collect and monitor student progress data
- Complete documentation and therapy notes
Qualifications:
- Active Delaware SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- School-based experience preferred
