Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Wilmington, DE | 2026–2027 School Year

A school district in Wilmington, DE is seeking full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the 2026–2027 school year. Multiple placement options are available across preschool, elementary, and specialized programs. Position Details:

• Full-time, school-based roles
• Typically 1 building per SLP (some sites may share caseloads)
• Preschool, elementary, and specialized program options available

Caseload Options:

• Preschool: ~30–35 students
  • Includes onsite preschool and itinerant services in local daycares/programs (Newark area)
• Elementary: ~50–55 students with varying levels of need
• Special Programs: ~25–30 students
  • Preschool through age 22 population
  • Specialized setting supporting students with Autism

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services
• Conduct evaluations and assessments
• Develop and implement IEPs
• Attend IEP and team meetings
• Collect and monitor student progress data
• Complete documentation and therapy notes

Qualifications:

• Active Delaware SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
• School-based experience preferred
