Make a positive impact supporting high school students' communication needs as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year near Wilmington, MA. This rewarding opportunity runs from September 21st through February 5th and offers a full-time schedule.

Your expertise will transform the lives of students by helping them access their education and interact confidently within their school community. You will collaborate closely with other educators and support staff in a high school setting, providing tailored therapy, ongoing evaluations, and valuable input to individualized education plans (IEPs).

Qualifications or Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Active Massachusetts license in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Previous experience working in a school-based or adolescent-focused environment strongly preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to high school students as indicated by their IEPs
  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized goals and therapeutic interventions
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes
  • Maintain thorough documentation on student progress and therapy sessions
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting and planning
