There are four openings available—two positions focused on Pre-K students and two positions serving schools in the Shallotte area.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Hold a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Active state licensure (or eligibility) for North Carolina
  • Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Adaptability and enthusiasm for working with diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students with a range of communication needs
  • Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and monitor progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to maximize student outcomes
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with state and school regulations
  • Offer support and strategies to classroom staff to help integrate communication goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute as a valued member of the multidisciplinary team
