You will collaborate with other professionals to create individualized treatment plans, serving caseloads typically ranging from 45 to 50 students. You’ll gain valuable experience and support, whether you are a Clinical Fellow (CFY) or hold your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), all while being located in the picturesque Wilmington area.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in North Carolina
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or in your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience or strong interest in providing therapy in a school or pediatric healthcare setting
- Comfortable with teletherapy platforms and digital documentation
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload of approximately 45-50 students
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop personalized treatment plans
- Deliver direct therapy tailored for pediatric students, both in-person and virtually
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to achieve academic and functional outcomes
- Maintain accurate progress reports and document all services provided
- Participate in team meetings, IEP development, and professional learning opportunities
