Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active and current SLP license valid in North Carolina
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) accepted
  • Experience working with elementary, middle, and/or high school students preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively on a multidisciplinary team
  • Competency in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a variety of communication disorders
  • Comfortable with IEP processes and special education documentation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language services across assigned grade levels
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with communication needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to optimize student outcomes
  • Maintain clear and timely records, progress reports, and compliance with district policies
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to planning as an expert resource
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and adapt to evolving school needs
