Elementary Licensed School Speech Language Pathologist - Wilmington, North Carolina

Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to a full-time contract assignment working with elementary students in grades K-5. This exciting role serves a vibrant school community near Wilmington, NC, with an immediate start continuing through June 2026. You’ll work with a manageable caseload of approximately 45 students, supporting their communication and language development during their critical early learning years.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Experience or strong interest in working with elementary-aged children (grades K-5)
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to provide both individual and group therapy sessions

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, diagnose speech and language disorders, and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapy services to students in grades K-5, using evidence-based practices
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals to support student success
• Monitor progress, update goals, and maintain accurate records for a caseload of around 45 students
• Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to multidisciplinary teams, and offer recommendations for classroom strategies
• Serve as a key resource for staff and families regarding speech-language development
