You’ll be responsible for a manageable caseload of approximately 45 students, collaborating with teachers and caregivers to deliver outstanding communication support.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience with elementary school-aged children (grades K-5) preferred
- Thorough understanding of speech and language assessment, IEP development, and evidence-based intervention strategies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging diverse students, parents, and school staff
- Ability to organize and manage a caseload effectively
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for identified students
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students on your caseload
- Provide direct therapy, both individual and group, focusing on articulation, language, fluency, and social communication skills
- Monitor student progress and regularly document results
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents
- Support teachers by providing resources and strategies to integrate speech and language goals in the classroom
