Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for Vermont
  • School-based SLP experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within educational teams

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and screenings to identify students with speech, language, or communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in conjunction with other school professionals
  • Provide direct therapy services to students individually and in small groups
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to support classroom integration
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team conferences
  • Offer resources and strategies to educators and caregivers to further support student growth
