Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Wilton, CA

A contract opportunity is available starting in January for a skilled SLP with CCC credentials, ready to provide in-person services and support to students and adults alike.

In this multifaceted position, you’ll spend two days each week working at both an adult Special Day Class program and an alternative education site. The remainder of the week, you’ll collaborate closely with a high school SLP, taking on case management responsibilities, leading IEP meetings, and performing comprehensive assessments. This opportunity allows you to engage with a wide range of learners while utilizing your specialized knowledge to foster positive outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid SLP-CCC certification required
• Previous school-based experience, especially with diverse populations, is highly valued
• Familiarity with IEP processes, assessments, and caseload management
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working across multiple sites and adapting to different program needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide in-person speech and language services to students and adults in two distinct educational programs
• Collaborate with another high school SLP, taking the lead on case management, IEP facilitation, and student assessments
• Develop and implement strategies and interventions tailored to each individual’s needs
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
• Consult and communicate effectively with families and multidisciplinary teams
