School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Winamac, Indiana

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting PreK–12th grade students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). You’ll help manage a caseload of approximately 70 students, delivering impactful speech and language services within a vibrant school setting near Winamac, IN. Collaborate with educators and families to help students overcome communication challenges and achieve classroom success.

Qualifications:

• SLPs must hold ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or a valid state license.
• SLPAs should have proper certification and relevant school-based experience.
• Experience with school-age populations, especially PreK–12th grade.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Ability to create and implement individualized goals and therapy plans.
• Candidates must be able to confirm their ability to commute to the Winamac, IN area.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services and interventions to students across PreK–12th grade.
• Evaluate students for speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Develop and execute individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain thorough documentation on student progress and services provided.
• Consult with teachers, families, and staff to support student communication needs in the classroom.
• Contribute to RTI/MTSS processes as required.
