Qualifications and Skills:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but not required
• Previous experience working with school-aged children is highly valued
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to adapt therapeutic techniques to meet individual student needs, including those with diverse backgrounds or unique challenges
• Commitment to maintaining accurate documentation and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in both individual and small group settings
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student progress
• Provide ongoing reporting, updates, and progress monitoring as outlined in IEPs and district guidelines
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational strategies
• Maintain detailed records in accordance with school, state, and federal standards
