Qualifications/Desired Background:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Active Indiana SLP license (or ability to obtain)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows are also welcomed
  • Prior pediatric or school-based SLP experience is a plus
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
  • Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students, both individually and in groups
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of sessions, progress reports, and related paperwork
  • Consult and work alongside teachers, special education staff, and other professionals
  • Facilitate parent meetings and maintain open communication with families
  • Support a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented learning environment
