Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP in Massachusetts
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
  • Previous experience working in a school environment or with pediatric populations
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in school-aged children
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
  • Document progress and maintain thorough, timely records in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including special education staff and classroom teachers
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development sessions
  • Provide consultative support and strategies for educators and families
  • Foster a positive, engaging atmosphere that encourages student participation and growth
