Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
- Experience working in school settings and/or with pediatric populations
- Strong skills in conducting speech-language assessments and interpreting results
- Familiarity with IEP process, including writing goals and objectives
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- State licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Responsibilities in this Role:
- Complete timely and comprehensive speech-language assessments for students
- Deliver individualized and group therapy services to meet students’ unique communication needs
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators and families
- Develop and help write effective IEPs in compliance with school and district guidelines
- Accurately document progress and maintain required records
- Provide consultative support to school staff and caregivers
