School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Winchester, Virginia

Key Qualifications:

• Active Virginia SLP license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
• Previous school-based SLP experience highly desirable
• Ability to provide speech-language evaluations, develop IEP goals, and deliver direct therapy services
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working with students, educators, and families
• Proficiency with remote therapy platforms for those considering virtual work

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy to diverse student populations
• Evaluate students’ communicative abilities and complete assessments as part of the IEP process
• Write concise, actionable reports and help formulate individual education plans (IEPs)
• Provide both individual and group sessions tailored to students’ unique needs
