Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in Virginia
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
- Commitment to working onsite within school environments
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessments, direct therapy, and progress monitoring for students with diverse speech/language needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Consult regularly with teachers, parents, and administrators on students’ communication goals and progress
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in accordance with district and state requirements
- Provide guidance and education regarding speech/language development to school staff and families
