Step into a rewarding school-based contract role providing essential speech-language services to students for the 2026–2027 academic year. In this in-person, full-time position, you'll play a pivotal part in supporting students with communication disorders that affect their educational performance. Working closely with a collaborative team of educators and specialists, you’ll make a lasting impact by helping learners develop critical communication abilities to reach their academic potential.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct thorough speech-language evaluations and assessments for students presenting communication needs
  • Design, implement, and consistently monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Provide both direct and consultative therapy services based on student requirements
  • Maintain clear and accurate records, including progress reports and documentation for compliance
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Offer professional consultation and tailored recommendations to teachers and families
  • Track student outcomes and adapt intervention strategies as progress dictates

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist license and/or educator certification as applicable
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred (Clinical Fellows are also invited to apply)
  • Prior experience in a school setting preferred; candidates with pediatric experience will be considered
  • Outstanding communication, organizational, and collaborative abilities
