This contract position offers the opportunity to work full-time during the academic year supporting two high schools, empowering high schoolers to achieve their communication goals while working alongside a team of accomplished professionals.

Qualifications:

  • Active Georgia SLP License and GaPSC Certification required for SLP-CCCs
  • SLPAs must hold a Bachelor’s degree and GaPSC certification
  • Open to SLP-CCCs, Clinical Fellows (CFs), and SLPAs
  • Experience working with students in a program-classroom setting is a plus
  • Ability to engage, consult, and collaborate effectively with school staff and family members

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services to a diverse caseload of approximately 45 students—primarily in program classrooms
  • Provide intensive support to one student twice weekly, with additional students seen once a week or twice monthly, as prescribed
  • Collaborate closely with special education teams, teachers, and families to ensure student success
  • Maintain thorough records and contribute to IEP documentation in accordance with school guidelines
  • Participate in school-based meetings and professional development opportunities within the academic calendar
