Key Qualifications:

  • Hold an active Colorado SLP license with Colorado Department of Education (CDE) certification
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Recent experience in school-based SLP roles, ideally serving diverse student populations
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families
  • Ability to work onsite during standard school hours

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic success
  • Keep accurate service logs, progress reports, and documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings to provide expert recommendations and ensure student-focused care
