This is a full-time position covering a maternity leave from August through December, serving an elementary caseload. Your expertise will be valued as you collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to foster student success in a supportive and dynamic school environment.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Maryland state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school setting
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Team-oriented mindset and collaborative approach

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and assess students’ speech, language, and communication skills
  • Develop and implement effective, data-driven therapy plans
  • Work with a diverse caseload of elementary students, addressing varied speech and language needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting and progress monitoring
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support student growth
  • Maintain accurate documentation and confidential records
  • Deliver services both individually and in small groups as required by students’ needs
