Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP licensure and certification for work in schools
- Previous experience serving high school-aged students preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech and language assessment tools
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Commitment to supporting diverse learners in an inclusive setting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language services to high school students based on IEPs
- Conduct assessments, create treatment plans, and monitor progress
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student growth
- Attend meetings and provide input on student needs and progress
- Maintain organized records and documentation in compliance with school requirements
- Employ evidence-based interventions tailored to individual student needs
- Foster a welcoming, supportive therapy environment
