School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Windsor Mill, Maryland

Take on an important role supporting high school students during the 26/27 school year as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a full-time contract assignment. This position focuses on a high school population with a small caseload, allowing for more personalized interactions and the ability to make a significant impact on each student’s progress and confidence.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Speech-Language Pathology license for Maryland
• SLP experience in school settings preferred
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Comfortable working with high school students
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for high school-aged students
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement individualized service plans
• Maintain detailed records of student progress and required documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing student evaluations
• Provide direct and consultative SLP services tailored to a small caseload
• Stay current with best practices and compliance requirements in school-based SLP services
