Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of Vermont
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
  • Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of IEP development and implementation
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and screenings to identify students in need of speech and language services
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and provide direct therapy to students, both individually and in groups
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Document progress and maintain detailed records in compliance with federal and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to support student goals
  • Offer guidance and resources to families and educators regarding speech and language development
