Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Windsor, VT

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting the communication needs of students in a vibrant elementary school environment. This position serves two welcoming school communities and offers a meaningful chance to make an impact from September 3 to June 10, with a steady 22.5-hour work week. Hours are conveniently structured from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., allowing for a balanced schedule.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Experience with PreK–6th grade populations and a variety of typical communication needs
• Ability to travel between two nearby elementary schools as required
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to engage with students, staff, and families
• Commitment to on-site service delivery; teletherapy is not an option for this role

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy to a diverse caseload of 30 students, supporting ages PreK through 6th grade
• Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and document progress
• Collaborate with teachers and interdisciplinary teams to promote student success in communication
• Offer guidance and resources to families and staff on effective speech and language strategies
• Engage in school community activities, advocating for inclusive practices
