A fulfilling opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to work in a school-based setting. This full-time, contract position supports a caseload of 55 students, with only 8 requiring case management duties—allowing you to focus on direct intervention and vital speech and language assessments.

Your expertise will support students’ growth through in-person therapy and assessment services. You’ll play a crucial role in fostering students’ communication skills, collaborating with fellow educators and parents, and participating in a dynamic educational environment that values your contributions.

What we’re looking for:

  • Valid SLP, SLP-CCC, or SLPA credentials for school-based practice
  • Experience or strong interest in working with student populations
  • Confidence conducting in-person speech and language therapy sessions
  • Ability to manage a manageable caseload and complete necessary documentation
  • Dedication to performing face-to-face assessments as needed throughout the school year
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills with colleagues, students, and families

In this role, you will:

  • Provide direct, face-to-face speech and language therapy to students
  • Conduct assessments as new needs arise during the year
  • Maintain case files and manage documentation for 8 case management students
  • Develop and update individualized student therapy plans
  • Collaborate with educational staff and families for holistic support
  • Participate in meetings as required to support student success
