Step into a dynamic contract position for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist, where you’ll provide crucial support across two temporary FMLA openings. This role blends home-based and center-based environments, offering a rich professional experience and the opportunity to make a significant difference in young lives.
You’ll begin in late July, engaging with early intervention services, then transition in November to support Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) programs. Your workday will primarily include collaboration with another therapist, flexibility in location, and variety in client needs, all within a supportive, professional atmosphere.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings, including early intervention and ECSE preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
- Comfort working in both home-bound and center-based/community settings
- Ability to adapt strategies to diverse learning needs and locations
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to early intervention and ECSE populations
- Administer assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Work collaboratively with families, caregivers, and education teams
- Maintain thorough, accurate documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
- Deliver services in-home (with a paired therapist) and at various learning centers
- Manage flexible travel schedule within the assigned region
