Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license in North Carolina or eligible for reciprocity
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Prior experience working in schools or pediatric settings strongly preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to a wide range of student needs
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students as indicated in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop tailored treatment plans and set measurable student goals
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support classroom success
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation and progress reporting
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights for student support planning
- Offer resources and strategies to staff for enhancing communication across the school environment
