Desired Skills and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active North Carolina SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFY) encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in pediatric settings, specifically in schools, is highly desirable
- Teletherapy and healthcare-based SLP experience a plus
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Commitment to fostering student development in speech, language, and communication milestones
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment and intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to maximize student success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Utilize advanced and interactive teletherapy platforms when needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress reports
