Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active North Carolina SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFY) encouraged to apply
  • Previous experience in pediatric settings, specifically in schools, is highly desirable
  • Teletherapy and healthcare-based SLP experience a plus
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Commitment to fostering student development in speech, language, and communication milestones

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment and intervention plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to maximize student success
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Utilize advanced and interactive teletherapy platforms when needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress reports
