What You’ll Need:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Active state licensure or eligibility in North Carolina
  • Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and families
  • Effective time management and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify student communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized speech and language therapy plans (IEPs/504s)
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support academic achievement
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with state and federal requirements
  • Provide both direct therapy and consultative services as designated in student plans
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise to support student development
  • Stay current with best practices and continuing education in speech-language pathology
