Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in North Carolina
  • Previous experience in school settings preferred, but strong clinical backgrounds encouraged to apply
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to tailor interventions to diverse student populations and grade levels

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students with a range of communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student strengths and challenges
  • Deliver direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student progress and participation
  • Maintain accurate documentation on assessments, therapy sessions, and student outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
  • Provide resources and strategies for classroom teachers to support student communication in academic settings
