Make a meaningful impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students from PreK through grade 12 in a vibrant North Carolina public school setting. This on-site, contract position creates opportunities to work directly in an engaging school environment with diverse student caseloads (35–40 students per site) at either a primary, elementary, or middle school.

Required Qualifications:

  • Current and active North Carolina NCDPI Speech-Language Pathology license (verified prior to placement)
  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Working experience with ECATS is essential
  • Full-time availability to provide services on-site; remote or assistant roles are not being considered
  • Experience managing caseloads across varying ages and abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students, following individualized IEP goals
  • Conduct thorough assessments and write comprehensive, timely evaluation reports
  • Create, implement, and routinely monitor progress on individualized treatment plans
  • Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with educators, support staff, and families
  • Maintain accurate documentation in ECATS and utilize Infinite Campus for scheduling and reporting
  • Support classroom teams with consultative expertise and provide integrated support as needed
  • Routinely monitor and report on student progress, adjusting interventions based on data
  • Uphold compliance with local, state, and federal special education requirements

This full-time assignment runs from mid-August through early June, offering a rewarding and immersive professional experience in a supportive educational community. You'll work alongside passionate educators and dedicated therapists to help every student find their voice.
