Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- Holds or is eligible for North Carolina licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in progress
- Previous experience working with school-aged children is a plus
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Excellent communication abilities for collaboration with staff, students, and families
- Adaptability and enthusiasm for working within diverse school environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments for students referred for speech and language services
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Provide direct therapy, both in groups and individually, targeting speech, language, and communication goals
- Maintain accurate records and prepare progress reports in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related professionals to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Utilize evidence-based practices and adjust therapy approaches as needed
- Support a positive, inclusive classroom environment
