Elementary High School School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Winston-Salem, North Carolina

Qualifications:

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in North Carolina
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in progress
• Experience in school environments, supporting a range of age groups (elementary, middle, high school)
• Proficiency in providing 1:1 therapy, group sessions, and integrating IEP goals into intervention
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with evaluation, progress monitoring, and developing appropriate documentation

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for students from kindergarten through high school
• Deliver 1:1 and group therapy sessions tailored to each student's IEP
• Conduct screenings and comprehensive evaluations as needed
• Collaborate with educators, special education staff, and families to support optimal student outcomes
• Maintain accurate records and comply with all state, federal, and district requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to team planning and progress reviews
