Key Qualifications:
- Current state licensure and SLP certification required
- Experience providing speech therapy in elementary, middle, and/or high school settings
- Skilled in delivering 1:1 support as well as collaborating with teachers and families
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to fit the unique needs of diverse learners
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students across multiple grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and track student progress
- Work closely with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to foster student success
- Provide direct one-on-one and small group therapy, both in person and virtually as needed
- Maintain regular and meticulous documentation in alignment with school and state standards
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff professional development, and interdisciplinary problem-solving teams
- Advocate for students’ communication access and social involvement within the school community
