High School 1:1 School Speech Language Pathologist - Winston-Salem, North Carolina

Key Qualifications:

• Current state licensure and SLP certification required
• Experience providing speech therapy in elementary, middle, and/or high school settings
• Skilled in delivering 1:1 support as well as collaborating with teachers and families
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt therapy approaches to fit the unique needs of diverse learners

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students across multiple grade levels
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and track student progress
• Work closely with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to foster student success
• Provide direct one-on-one and small group therapy, both in person and virtually as needed
• Maintain regular and meticulous documentation in alignment with school and state standards
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff professional development, and interdisciplinary problem-solving teams
• Advocate for students’ communication access and social involvement within the school community
