Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Florida
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) accepted
- Experience in a school-based SLP environment is highly valued
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with adolescent and teenage populations
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language services to students in grades 7-12
- Assess students’ communication needs using standardized tools and observations
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student progress
- Maintain timely, compliant documentation of sessions, assessments, and outcomes
- Contribute positively to a supportive, multi-disciplinary team environment
