Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant community near Woodbridge, NJ. Three full-time positions are available for the fall of 2026, perfect for professionals ready to make a lasting impact during maternity leave coverage. Each position spans approximately 12 weeks beginning in September, offering a chance to work onsite with elementary age groups, particularly those with high Autism and preschool populations (K-5th grades).
What makes this assignment unique is the focus on providing essential speech and language support at well-supported elementary campuses. Collaboration is at the heart of these roles, as you’ll work closely with students, educators, and families to deliver quality therapy and maximize student potential.
Key qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active NJ SLP License
- Valid NJ Speech-Language Specialist (SLS) Certification
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) highly preferred
- Clinical Fellows (CF) considered, but external supervision arrangements are required
- Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder, early childhood, or K-5 populations is a plus
- SLPAs not eligible for this position
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments, developing and implementing individualized therapy plans
- Delivering direct speech-language intervention to meet IEP goals
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborating with teachers/staff
- Communicating progress clearly with families
- Maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with school and state standards
