Speech Therapist in Woodbridge, VA

Step into an engaging contract opportunity for Speech-Language Pathologists in vibrant communities throughout Prince William County. This onsite position is essential to supporting student success and fostering communication development from August 17th, 2026 through June 12th, 2027. With placements focused in Dale City, Dumfries, and Woodbridge, you'll make a direct impact while working 35 hours per week during regular school hours.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Virginia SLP license required
• CCC-SLP credential strongly preferred; CFYs with proper credentials will be considered
• Previous experience in a school-based setting is a plus
• Passion for helping K-12 students with a variety of speech and language needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working alongside educators, families, and staff

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services for a diverse caseload of students
• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments and re-evaluations
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plan (IEP) goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain thorough, compliant documentation of evaluations, sessions, and student progress
• Communicate findings, recommendations, and student progress with families and school personnel
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise for student-centered planning
